With deep sorrow and abiding faith, we celebrate the life of James Frank Anderson, Jr. who departed this life on June 30th 2026 at the age of 76. James was born in Pearl City, a historic neighborhood in Boca Raton, Florida, where the community was rooted in faith, love, strength and devotion.  He was the 7th of eight children and the only male!

On October 11, 1949, James Frank Anderson, Jr. was born to the union of the late James Frank Anderson, Sr. and Willie Mae Warren-Anderson.  James received his education in the Palm Beach County Public School System. At an early age James accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior and he joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J. A. Lantham.  Later he attended Jesus People Ministries Church in Miami, Florida.

James met Laura and they were united in holy matrimony on August 12, 2000.  James had a caring and giving spirit and loved to help others, offering assistance whenever needed.  James was an avid football fan of the University of Miami football team.  He also coached ladies softball at one time in Boca Raton area.

James leaves to cherish his memories:  a loving and devoted wife Laura Anderson; daughter Shulanda Anderson; step son Anthony S. White (Julia); two sisters: Jacqueline Anderson and Hattie Ruth Wyatt; He also leaves his grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by parents James Frank Anderson, Sr. and Willie Mae Warren-Anderson; his daughter Latonia Thomas; his sisters Mary A. Goddard, Ruby J. Anderson, Charlene B. Anderson, Rosetta T. Anderson, and Alicia D. Anderson.
