It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Rolle Bush, who departed this life on July 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on October 16, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, Dennis lived a life centered on family, love, and resilience.

 

Dennis was raised by his parents, Robert Rolle and Helen Virginia Rolle, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became.

 

Although Dennis attended Miami Central High School, he did not have the opportunity to complete his education, as he spent much of his youth incarcerated. Upon his release, he made the decision to change the course of his life. Through determination and perseverance, he built a career at Joe’s Stone Crab, where he worked faithfully until his retirement. His journey was one of growth, redemption, and resilience, and he took pride in the life he created for himself and his family.

 

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Virginia Rolle; his sisters, Shirley Wilcox (Henry), Janice Byrd, and Robyn Rolle; the mother of his eldest children, Eddie Mae Collins; and his eldest daughter, Ebonie Collins.

 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved sister, Diane Royals; his brothers, Eric Rolle, Andre Rolle (Kim), and Robert Gregory Rolle; his niece, Chareen Rolle; and Bernice Delancy, the mother of his younger children.

 

Dennis was a devoted father to his son, Anthony Johnson; his daughters, Crystal Collins, Denise Delancy, and Asia Delancy; his bonus daughter,Cassargedra Andre Saturday Little; Armoni Smith Shantavia McFadden and his stepdaughters, Shantavia LATORIA DELANCY Cornisha KAMESHA His love for family extended deeply to his grandchildren: Andrell Johnson (“Ray Ray”), Dante Collins Banks, Kymoni Collins, Kaylah Knight, Jakari Collins, Johnny Joassaint, Jovanny Joassaint (“Juju”), Ivorie Grier, Iesha’Sky Delancy, Antonio Delancy, Kameaa, Amillion, Jacobe Graggs, and Kymbreana Latorria Ariel,Shania,Maria His EBONIE-Charlerha Johnson Bonus Sons Stephen and Steven Daniels Johnnie Golden Close family Member Ulric Manker

 

He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Andrell Johnson Jr., Kylie Collins, Aria Collins Banks, and Anayra Star Collins Banks, who brought him immense pride and joy.

 

Dennis will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, the memories he created, and the impact he had on all who knew him. Though his physical presence is gone, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
